Fredrik Andersson is a professor of Economics and Dean of the Lund University School of Economics and Management since 2012. He is an alumnus of the 2012 International Deans’ Programme, and he has been active as an EFMD/EQUIS peer-reviewer.
He has previously served as Vice Dean for research at the same institution, and he has had a number of positions of trust in Swedish research funding, including serving in the Council for Humanities and Social Sciences at the Swedish Research Council, 2007-2008. He has lead a number of research projects. His research focuses on the economics of organization and public finance.
Recently, he has worked on foundational issues in the context of the make-or-buy decision, as well as in applied issues with a focus on marketization of healthcare. He has done consulting and written a number of reports for non-academic audiences on public-sector outsourcing.
