On June 2, friends and alumni are most welcome to Faculty House at Columbia University to join us for an alumni and networking event in New York. We look forward to seeing many old and new friends.
At the event, we will network over refreshments, get the latest news from Lund University and learn about exciting research. Lennart Olsson, professor of geography, founding director of the Centre for Sustainability Studies at Lund University and a coordinator within the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), will inspire us and discuss research that addresses some of the world’s most difficult problems, from climate change and environmental degradation to the sustainable use of resources. It’s a broad agenda of social science research on how different actors can and should interact for promoting a better stewardship of our common planet for the benefit of current and future generations.
Lund University warmly welcomes you to Faculty House, Columbia University. The event starts at 6 p.m.
Faculty House is located on Columbia University’s East Campus on Morningside Drive, north of 116th Street. View directions to Faculty House.
